Artist Policy

ARTIST POLICY AND TERMS OF USE

1) Artist's agree to only sell products that meet SWAIA's fine art standards and are within the artists current juried in classifications.

2) The artist agrees they are responsible for the credit card processing fee determined by the credit card processing platform. The artist will price their work accordingly in consideration of the fees.

3) The artist is responsible for setting up their payment processing method and shipping rules prior to adding artwork. The artist is responsible for setting up their shipping rules. If shipping costs more than they have set up, they are responsible for the remaining balance. The artist is recommended to insure their shipments equal to the value of their artwork in case of damage. If damage occurs, the dispute is between the artist and the shipping carrier to recover the funds. SWAIA is not responsible for recovering or replacing any of the funds. The artist is required to provide a tracking number when the order is fulfilled and mark the order as delivered upon delivery.

4) The artist will not be transferred their payment until the order has been delivered to the recipient. The transfer may take several business days. 

5) In any case of a return or refund, the artist will contact SWAIA at swaiadigitalmarket@swaia.org to initiate and assist in the process. The artist agrees to set up their return, refund and shipping policies accordingly. The artist may choose to honor returns and refunds or they may choose to state that all sales are final. 

6) The artist acknowledges that the first 100 New Mexico artists will receive the first 12 months free. After the first year, the artist will incur a $15 per month subscription fee to continue using the platform. 

7) The artist can choose to leave the platform at any time by notifying swaiadigitalmarket@swaia.org
